Palmer was so full of smiles and giggles during his one year milestone studio session! Palmer loved showing off for the camera, he made my job so much fun! I love creating a session that hits all of the marks that the family is looking for, for Palmer’s one year milestone session I pulled similar props to what we used during his newborn session. Using the same props throughout his first year of life, such as bowls and elephants, helps show just how much he has grown over the past year. Palmer’s parents knew they wanted a great family photo during his one year session and we definitely got that accomplished! Palmer’s mom brought a few different adorable outfits for him wear during his one year session that matched the aesthetic that we had put together.
For the second half of Palmer’s one year milestone session we did a cake smash, the cake was not a big hit with Palmer! Even though Palmer was a little afraid of his one year cake, his parents encouraged him to take just a tiny bite to taste it but he is strong willed and wouldn’t have it. Palmer’s mom was worried at the end of the session that we may not have gotten any cute images of Palmer with his cake since he was so afraid to touch it, but I reassured her there was nothing to worry about! One of the greatest things about photographing kids is they still look cute even if they aren’t enthused about a cake. We ended up with a great gallery full of such cute and fun images of Palmer, I know his parents will cherish these image for so many years to come!
