Fort Worth Newborn Session | Baby Blakely
A beautiful session at just over three weeks old
Baby Blakely came to my Fort Worth studio at about three and a half weeks old. At this age many babies are more alert, and she was no exception. Even so, her session went really well. We were able to capture a mix of sleepy moments along with her growing personality.

Many parents worry they may have missed the newborn window if their baby is a few weeks old. Sessions like this are a good reminder that beautiful images can still be captured, even when babies are a little older and more aware.
Soft neutrals and an organic feel
Blakely’s session focused on soft neutrals, creams, and blush tones to create a clean and timeless look. The styling stayed simple and organic, allowing the focus to remain on her. We used a heart-shaped basket, a small bed, and soft wraps with a few delicate details like flowers, bows, and stuffed animals.

Bright eyes and sweet expressions
Blakely spent much of her session awake and content. She gave us so many moments of eye contact along with the sweetest facial expressions. Those awake images add so much personality and give parents a nice mix alongside the classic newborn poses.

The newborn stage passes quickly. Blakely’s session captures that in-between time where newborn features are still there, but personality is already starting to show. These images preserve this stage in a natural, timeless way her family will be able to look back on for years to come.
