This Dallas studio newborn session was for this family’s fourth baby boy! It’s always so much fun to work with large families, especially when I get to photograph each new baby. This session was particularly funny as the youngest boy wasn’t in the mood to participate with photos. We kept him in the session and just let him make all the faces he needed to make, his mom thought this was hilarious and so do I! It’s not always about the perfect photo, it’s about capturing your kids as they are in that moment and it’s good blackmail for when they’re in high school ha ha! As a photographer it is always so nice when parents have realistic expectations with their little ones during a session. This helps things to run smoothly and for people not to get frustrated with each other. The little brother T-shirts are so sweet, and helped create a cohesive look for all of the boys during this session. I love the neutral toned clothing against the neutral backdrop, this session was a dream to edit! I am always available to consult for client wardrobe options before our session!
For the Dallas Studio newborn session, this mom wanted neutral colors, they did a great job, picking out outfits! baby Kylar had an organic, rainbow, BoHo themed nursery. Knowing this was their theme, I wanted to help incorporate it into their session. We also made sure to incorporate their fathers old Tonka truck into a few of the images. This was such a good, sentimental touch to add to their newborn session. Props are always welcome in my studio! All of their boys have had an image with this truck taken as newborns in my studio. It is really cool to look back at each of them!
