DFW newborn photography is my specialty! Hi, i’m Julie Harding, owner of Julie Harding Photography and I absolutely love every family that I get the chance to photograph. Emma’s newborn session is one of my favorites, I adore the blush pink color palette we chose for her. Blush pink compliments Emma’s skin tone so well, while not distracting from her as the main focus of the images. Speaking of little miss Emma, look at how incredible her hair is! Emma came in for her posed newborn session at three weeks old, typically the ideal time frame is 6-10 days after birth. However, Emma did so well and her being a bit older was not an issue for her session. The time frame suggested is to allow for ease of posing your newborn and having them stay in the poses comfortably.
I wanted to use a wide variety of textures throughout Emma’s DFW newborn photography session in order to create depth to the images. Using several textures within an image helps draw your eye into the photo and keeps you looking for longer. For Emma, we used twine, lace, cotton, and soft fluffy blankets for added texture. As a photographer, putting these scenes together and finding just the right angle for each image is all part of the fun! I love photographing your newest family member, and creating works of art for your family to cherish for a life time. I like to imagine images printed out and hung on a wall while I am shooting. This helps me create images that are dynamic and timeless. There are never two images exactly alike as a studio newborn photographer, we make sure of it! I want your newborn session to be as unique as your family is. I love creating images that feel like you!
