Fort Worth childrens photography can be so much fun with the awesome locations we have to work with. For this two year session we decided to shoot at the Kimball Art Museum in Fort Worth, a gorgeous place with such awesome architecture. I can’t believe that this fun loving little man is two years old and we had a blast during his milestone session! I don’t know who was more exhausted at the end of the session, me or him haha! He loved running around and seeing the water features at the Kimball art museum. I wanted to keep him happy and somewhat interested in the session so we did lots of fun little activities. We played chase, threw rocks, and played with trucks – some of his favorite things! I know some families prefer a lot of posed photos over the candid moments, but this wasn’t one of those times! Mom and dad loved that we documented their songs spunky fun loving personality on camera at such a fun age! Every kid is so different and over the years I have gotten really good at paying attention to a kids body language and temperament, adjusting prompts accordingly. This is all in order to have the best chance of your kiddo feeling comfortable and having a good time, it shows in photos. If the kids are happy, parents will be happy in the long run with their images!
Shooting at an urban location is always a lot of fun for me, always good to mix it up and get creative with sessions in different locations! Have an interesting session location idea? I’d love to hear all about it! No matter how long I have been shooting in this area of Texas, there will always be little hidden gems waiting to be found.
