Photographing a newborn is the greatest honor, especially when it is the baby girl of a family that I have had the pleasure of working with before. The first few days of your newborns life are fleeting and SO important to document! Little fingers and toes, chubby cheeks and sleepy smiles just melt my heart.
Clare’s big sister, Cate, tagged along for this newborn session. Cate was a little nervous about her new little sister. With the help of her aunt and a little bribery, I was able to capture some beautiful moments between the new sisters. It is my hope that twenty years from now these sisters will look back at these images and feel thankful for the bond that they have created.
Blush and light pink colors surrounded sweet Clare for her newborn session. I choose every detail with care. A delicate pearl head band and gorgeous pink flowers added the girly and timeless touch that I was dreaming of. Newborn photography involves a lot of textures and layering. I had so much fun mixing soft fabrics with rustic wood for Clare’s newborn session. Layers of color and texture help to create images that document each sweet detail of your newborn and come together to form a piece of art that you will treasure through every mile stone of your child’s life.
