last month i joined a group of women photographers, through clickin moms, to do a monthly photography challenge. each month we are given a different theme – we are to create images based on our own perception and interpretation of this theme. i hope to challenge myself as a photographer as i step out of my comfort zone and explore the different themes.

this month’s theme was shooting through glass…
and one of my little man Q not behind the glass
this was a very interesting challenge. it was hard coming up with just the right type of glass to be able to actually see through it. i tried several different types of glass before i finally found something that worked. i was able to use a drinking glass and it was just wide enough for me to put my lens into the glass and see through it. i had to focus manually as my camera was very confused as to why it couldn’t focus on anything.
