Look at this milestone session with Cash and tell me he isn’t the most handsome little guy you have ever seen! He gave us all the best facial expressions i am thoroughly obsessed with him and these photos. Cash loves to move around, so we made this session all about having fun for him! We put him in a posing bowl, gave him books to read, and even handed him a basketball to have a blast with. We chose a basketball for a prop because his dad loves playing basketball, like father like son! I love seeing parents want to pass down their hobbies and passions to their little ones. A milestone session is the perfect time to introduce bigger props such as a basketball, since Cash is a year old he is able to interact with items like this really well. Cash wore these little knit grey suspender onesie for most of his session, it fit him so well and is a great neutral color for any milestone session. But Cash’s moms favorite shot of the whole session is the naked shot where he sits facing away with all of the stuffed animals. This is a classic shot that a lot of parents absolutely swoon over and I am always happy to recreate it. I love the creative aspect of a shot like this, even though it isn’t your run of the mill “looking directly at the camera” image. Sometimes the shots that are different become the favorites and I always feel like i’ve done my job well in that case.
I can’t forget to mention Cash’s custom outfit, how precious that it has his name on it and everything! The “Wild ONE” theme is perfect for this active boy, and I enjoyed putting together the color scheme and props to make it perfect.
