Nolan’s Fort Worth newborn session was all about close ups for this little guy! Nolan’s parents preferred to have photos that highlighted only their brand new baby. I loved finding a creative and subtle way to include mom and dad in a few of these shots. My go to is having baby in mom and dads arms and doing a close up details shot. These always turn out so well and are a great way to remember how tiny your baby once was! I also adore the photo of Nolan’s toes curled around the parents gorgeous wedding rings. Detail shots are perfect for blowing up and hanging on the walls of your home! I always like to give my client’s a good variety of close ups, details, and full body shots for newborn sessions. I aim to capture every little thing that you want to remember about having a newborn!
For Nolan’s Fort Worth newborn session, mom and dad wanted to stick with classic, neutral colors. I always love going the classic route for newborn sessions. You really cannot go wrong with soft neutrals when it comes to photography! I have a huge selection of neutral colored backdrops and props to choose from. For example, the precious little knit teddy bear that Nolan is holding onto in one of these newborn photos. Creating an adorable scene for your newborns backdrop is a specialty of mine. I love mixing different textures, while staying within one color scheme. As a long time, experienced studio newborn photographer, I love getting into my groove during a session. I plan ahead of time to ensure that the session will run smoothly, and that every detail is covered.
