This Texas bluebonnet photo session was a dream to photograph! What I love so much about shooting in the Texas bluebonnets is how vibrant and colorful they make an image. Bluebonnet season is a very limited amount of time, I try to fit as many family sessions into that time frame every year as possible and take full advantage of these gorgeous flowers! If I had to choose one thing that represents and sets Texas photoshoots apart from anywhere else, it would have to be the bluebonnets. Us texans go absolutely crazy over the bright blue flowers every year. It has become a sort of right of passage for families moving to Texas, you have to have your photos taken in the bluebonnet fields, then you’re officially a Texan! Photo sessions in these colorful flowers are super fun when it comes to coordinating outfits. This momma did an incredible job with choosing bright pastel colors for their family photos. These pastel pinks and blues worked so well with the more saturated colors of the bluebonnets, the family stood out but also looked cohesive and did not clash colors. Not to mention the absolutely adorable little bow tie that she picked out for Everett to wear! Put that together with his suspenders and I present to you the worlds cutest child.
The image from Everett’s Texas bluebonnet photo session that stands out the most to me is the one of hm in the white chair with that little smile surrounded by the colorful flowers! I am also super in love with the bokeh that I was able to capture in this sunset session, the gold peaking through the trees is such a pretty touch to the images. I cant wait for bluebonnet season in Texas this year and all of the fun sessions we will have!
