Baby Wyatt | Fort Worth Newborn Session
Welcoming baby Wyatt to the studio
Wyatt came in for his newborn session in my Fort Worth studio at sixteen days old, right in that early newborn stage where babies are still so tiny and curled up. His session moved along smoothly, giving us time to capture both those quiet, sleepy images and a few moments that showed his early expressions.

Warm tones and a simple setup
For Wyatt’s session, we used a mix of blues, tans, and soft earth tones to keep everything feeling warm and natural. We used a moon-shaped basket, a bucket with stuffed animals, and soft wraps layered on a flokati to add texture without making anything feel busy.

A special session with big sister
This session was especially meaningful because I had photographed big sister’s newborn session a couple of years ago. It’s always special to see families come back and grow over time. She did such a great job and was so gentle with her baby brother. You could tell she was proud to be in her new role. Those sibling images always end up being some of the most treasured.

Personal touches that matter
Wyatt’s parents brought a few meaningful items to include in their session. Their Bible and wedding rings were incorporated into some of the images, adding a layer of significance that makes these photos even more personal. Those small details often become some of the most meaningful to look back on later.

Holding onto these early days
Newborn sessions capture a season that changes quickly. From those early days with a growing family to the connection between siblings, this time does not last long. Wyatt’s session reflects both the start of his story and the next chapter for his family in a simple and timeless way.
